Workshop Overview
The workshop intends to address the ethical, legal and societal issues related to the regulation of robotics technologies. The workshop is divided into two main sessions. The first session consists of invited talks by renowned experts in the fields of robotics, law, ethics, and technology assessment. The second session will be open to the interaction with the audience. Drawing on some of the main outcomes of the RoboLaw project, some of the topics that will be discussed in the open session are: robotics as a special case of regulation; the role of ethics in technology regulation, enhancement, and liability.
